Exposures are identical to those used in Test 1. Figure 3 shows a the line of best fit and equation for deriving the colour transform. However the plot is\u00a0less &#8216;convincing&#8217; despite the slightly larger sample size.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1297\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/jazzistentialism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Land4.png\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1297\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-1297\" src=\"http:\/\/jazzistentialism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Land4.png\" alt=\"Land4\" width=\"600\" height=\"369\" srcset=\"http:\/\/jazzistentialism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Land4.png 871w, http:\/\/jazzistentialism.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Land4-300x184.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1297\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Figure 4<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Fearing some discrepancy in the on-line published values for Landolt, additional tests were undertaken using both\u00a0<em>Graham<\/em>\u00a0reference stars and \u00a0<em>E Regions<\/em>\u00a0from the\u00a0<em>Cape standards<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h3>Test 3<\/h3>\n<p>The third test uses a combination of southern &#8220;E fields&#8221; from the\u00a0<em>Cape Standards<\/em>\u00a0and a selection of \u00a0&#8220;Graham&#8221;\u00a0stars.<\/p>\n<p>The E Field test uses stars from three adjacent fields. These brighter stars from the Cape Standards required shorter exposures &#8211; 10 seconds for B and 2 seconds for V.
